About Us


At GILMAR Construction Ltd. we specialize in forming concrete residential and commercial foundations in Central Alberta.  From placing the first call request to backfilling the foundation, we provide a complete foundation service.  This service encompasses excavation of the hole, forming the footings and walls, garage and deck piles, placing the concrete, damproofing, installing weeping tile and rock and backfilling the foundation.  Our goal is to provide our customers with a quality foundation and a positive and friendly building experience. 


Our foundations are built with power and pride, largely because of our team.  They are dedicated,  hard working, and committed to a job well done.  We take pride in our team and value their strong work ethic and expertise.  At GILMAR, we believe we have the  “cream of the crop” of basement builders.

Gil has been forming residential foundations in Central Alberta for over 30 years. He has vast knowledge, expertise and experience in concrete foundations.  He is committed to providing quality customer service and building solid foundations. Gil is formally of Marshall Brothers Construction.

Pat has been building foundations for 20 years and is considered to be a great asset to our company. He is a dedicated and valued employee who provides comic relief to our office. Over his years of service he has gained knowledge that contributes to GILMAR’S success on a daily basis.

Denise is a devoted and valued employee at GILMAR Construction. With 6 years experience in the construction industry, and her attention to detail she keeps our office organized and running smoothly.  Her work ethic, dedication and love for learning adds to the success of GILMAR.
